Entering a new chapter in the history of Rahula College, the Police Cadet Wing of the school was chartered back in 2020 under the leadership of S.P.A.D. Ravishan, guided by Mr. Keerthi Dharmapriya. Throughout a short period of time, we were able to add glory to the school by showcasing the inborn talents of young students.

  • Acting as First Sergeant, Staff Sergeant, Team Sergeant Major, and Regimental Sergeant Major of the Rahul College Police Cadet Corps.
  • Acting as Staff Sergeant in the first victory of the Police Cadet Corps.
  • Winning all camps led during service.

  • Participating as Team Sergeant Major in President’s Color and Force Color Ceremony. (Island-wide)

  • President, First Police Cadet Regiment Sergeant Major in a Presidential Award Guard with Force Colors as well as Third Regiment Sergeant Major from the Force (Island-wide)
  • Representing Rahul College for the first time to be promoted to the rank of Force Regimental Sergeant Major.
  • Acting as Team Sergeant Major of the First Inspector General of Police Trophy Camp.
  • Second Inspector General of Police Trophies Camp as Regimental Sergeant Major.
  • The first Regimental Sergeant Major to represent Rahul College in a national camp.

S.R.G.T Wisalka

  • Promoted to the rank of 2nd Corporal and later elevated to the positions of 3rd Sergeant and 3rd Staff Sergeant within the Police Cadet Corps.

  • Serving in the capacity of Acting Runner-Up Sergeant in the 1st IGP Cup Camp (All Ceylon).
  • Achieving success as a sergeant in various camps.
  • Securing the distinction of being the first to achieve national-level victory in the 16th Battalion and Rahula College.
  • Appointed as the Color Sergeant of the Third Color Flag Division in the Presidential Awards, receiving both Presidential Colors and Force Colors. Notably, Vishalka S.R.G.T is recognized as the inaugural Police Cadet Color Sergeant (All Ceylon).
